E89 Sales Figures

When was the E89 actually released in the UK? I've yet to actually see one out on the road - the only place I've seen one was outside Douglas Park BMW in Glasgow a few weeks ago. I can't even be sure they still had it when I was in on Saturday, but I'm back there tonight/tomorrow so might take a longer look out of interest.

Probably a victim of an expensive car being launched at a bad time financially in the UK/globally.

I saw my first one in the flesh about 5 months ago if you ignore the one I checked out at Park Lane BMW. It was southbound on Vauxhall Bridge in London. Have seen about six since, all around south London and all in dark colours (black or blue). The one I tested (35i, DCT) in Hampshire in August was also blue.

The dealer here has only sold 2, and I got a great deal :yeah: on the demo. Not sure what BMW's targets are, but I kinda like being part of something exclusive, and God knows when it get popular, it tends to start getting stolen although this does have somewhat of a negative impact on aftermarket parts. So far I have only seen one other new Z4 on the road and I like it that way

Thats an interesting set of figures Mike. I would guess its a similar picture in Europe. I do like it that they are not ubiquitous at the moment.

Managed to find some info, US only though.

I have seen a few on the roads round merseyside and lancashire, but no figures and they say its grim up north
