E89 roof won't open

Hello ! I have a 2010 E89 Z4.
Since a couple of weeks, the roof doesn't open anymore. When I press the open button, windows go down and then, nothing... Doesn't even try...
The light of the opening button goes red (not everytime) and no message.
Once, my trunk refused to open, but only happened once.
My battery is not the issue, I check the fuses, and I ordered "salmon relays" to replace them, they were quite old. Hope it will solve the problem.
Any ideas what else it could be ?

Yes, I know Cahors. Nice town ;-)
I am trying to solve this, maybe the salmon relays will solve the problem.
Tell me when you come if you come. Thanks a lot

Just changed the "salmons". As you predicted, it didn't help.
Waiting for my OBD reader for the next step.1775832311608.jpeg

Hello again !
Just received the OBD reader. Got 3 errors for the roof:
A690 / A692 – Hall sensors => correction left and right microswitches
A698 – Roof open
Got a lot of other errors also, not for this section... Need to check them also.
Gonna look through the forum how to fix this

A690 and A692 are the left and right boot closed micro switches. Cheap and easy to replace, once you get the roof into service position.

Here is a tutorial I did.

Sorry to hear that BMW parts prices have exploded. I paid $25 each about 3 years ago.

I seem to have a "battery" issue... I am looking into it
I have the A559: KL30g_f shutdown error code that keeps coming up even after resetting the errors codes.
My battety seems ok, a check by a professionnal says it is ok, with a "battery state of 92%" (state, not charge level)
But:
1/ I have the "low battery warning" after 2mn if I don't start the engine + OBD reader sats battery level is 35%
2/ after the heavy rains yesterday, I have water in the battery compatment, wasn't there 2 days ago

First step almost always on E89s with mysterious electrical problems is get a new appropriate battery ..then see what happens..

Also check the little storage compartment on the left hand side and also under the trim on the right where the parking and roof modules are, if there’s water there then it’s probably the seal around the top edge of the boot that leaking, the sealant dries out and turns to powder, also check the rubber seals around the rear lights, it should be seated around both sides of the bodywork.

My battery has been changed 2 years ago, still under warranty, car starts perfectly, OBD values are "voltage 14,59V" "voltage measured by IBS 14,83V"
Does not seem a battery problem to me...
Could it be because battery is stronger (80Ah) than the 70Ah standard ?

The 80ah battery definitely won't cause a problem..but..your readings from your OBD reader suggest inconsistent battery status ...

So often on E89s a simple A/B swap helps eliminate gross errors

Varta is a very good brand and it seems unlikely..but..it happens all the time..

As Chippie said corrosion on the CTM connector pins or water inside the CTM MAY be issues..again we've seen them here

Can a wrong battery status bring other problems ? Roof opening ? Others... My OBD reader gave me a list of errors and I am checking them all...

On my 35is when I bought it ..it had 145 errors..most cleared with a new battery and error clear

Clear the errors and see which come back
