I have an e89 2011 Z4
I had to replace a hydraulic hose on the roof
When putting everything back together and refilling the system with oil and attempting to prime the hydraulics I have finally managed to get he roof to open fully but it does not close fully
It leaves a small gap just before it reaches the centre latch at the back of the car and then stop and the buzzer goes off indicating a fault with the roof
Plugged my scanner into it and it says roof shell hall sensor packed 2
When checking live data you can see that the sensor operates when the roof moves (it says packed YES) and then when it’s nearly closed it says NO
I had tried to bypass with a magnet so that it continuously says YES when nearing the closed position but the roof still stop right at the end before it reaches its final position
Could an air bubble caused this issues and Code to appear?
