E89 Roof Pump Replacement

Hi everyone

First post here, I am creating a thread as I cannot PM people directly yet. My roof motor has given up and after going to BMW dealer was given a huge quote to fix it, the solution being to replace it with a new unit.

I would like to get some recommendations for vendors (and contact details if possible) that are familiar with fixing this issue and can either fix the existing motor or source a reconditioned unit.

There is a post somewhere in the e89 forum of a pump from another car being the same.. Think it was an Audi.. A search should throw it up

Guys on here who relocate and fix E85 roof motors may be able to sort your E89, Number5 in Bristol, DurhamDave in Tow Law and Rob at RBM in Hook, Hampshire. Worth asking them all would be cheaper than BMW if they can do E89's
