E89 roof leaks

I've recently noticed a small amount of water on the passenger seat after a rain shower . Drivers side ok .
Anyone had any experience and or got a fix it answer ?.

In the 'comprehensive' list section the last comment is with regards to seals being replaced under warranty due to leaks.

What silicone would you recommend?
I spoke to dealer today and suprise suprise water ingress is not covered under bmw used car warranty.

Hmmmm water ingress in lights is not but if it's be seals on the roof they should last longer as they are an integral part. That could cause an electrical problem which in turn effects the roof so what you'do need to pay for a new roof? I'd challenge that one as water ingress is only mentioned as part of the lights.

Afaik no rubber seals are covered because they degrade over time.
