there have been some threads on here with roof fixes recently, but not sure about hydraulic issues. Probably best to state where you are in the country and somebody might know where to suggest near you. :thumbsup:

I am located in leicestershire
looking back at previous posts...(its not easy!) here's a suggestion. try PM'ing this guy..

Dietcokeman (Brian) is the E89 roof expert and based newr Aylesbury I believe. He doesnt charge much at all Ive heard, so worth trying to contact him. I believe half the time youre paying Main Dealers over the top as some inexperienced mechanic is reading the process from the manual and with a 'repl...

Some have fixed hydraulic leaks with inline connectors, you need to search the internet.
This might be useful;

There is a BMW specialist in Loughborough not far from me:-

I've not used them myself but have heard good reports, maybe worth a shout!

Hey guys, does anybody know the inner dimension of the roof hoses?

Hi not sure you can join them successfully.
I replaced one on a 35i I had, it went to the very bottom of the drivers side rear glass and was leaking at the kink point above the drivers shoulder.

Turns out it was the longest pipe.
They are numbered at both ends so once you identify which one it is it’s fairly straightforward.

Cabriolet roof hoses are very helpful (mentioned in an above post)

It is achievable as a diy you just have to be patient.
