E89 roof issue checks question on microswitches

Checked with bimmertool it said 689 and 693 and also a weird D204 bus error.

2x microswitches inside of the trunk.
Very unusual, as never faulty. Maybe it got stored by the CTM while you were working on the new switches.

May be stored while the black 26-pole has been taken off from the CTM. No standard fault code.

Yes i did un plug these. But were plugged back and rechecked. Maybe it was a old code.

Good to see it bottomed out…my assertion of dual failure being improbable was wrong ..heh ho..

.. it’s the tell: same age, same design, same weather — paired parts fail together, not independently.
