E89 roof hydraulic parts

I have a failed hydraulic system on my 2009 Z4 E89. I saw the fluid leak out from the left main strut a few days ago when I was closing the roof. It partially opened later, but it stopped midway through the process. I do have the roof panels is service mode position, but I have not found the exact leaking component yet (will get to it tonight). I'm wondering where some of you E89 owners have purchased hydraulic roof parts in the past?

Apparently a new piece of hose can be spliced in to make a repair, haven’t had any issues myself but it’s always handy to read up on things like this
Here’s a link to an online supplier.

And a link to a post that had a repair done

Tonight I created access to the area where I thought the fluid leak came from. I pulled back the woven mesh protector surrounding the hydraulic tubes and the wires. I was expecting to find a significant crack or hole based on the stream of fluid that I saw run out the other day. Instead I found several small "pimple-like" bumps on both of the tubes in the same area. It is hard to see, but I think there is a pinhole in at least one of the pimples. It is so tiny that I don't know if I can tell for sure it leaked there unless I add fluid and try to run the top to see if it sprays out from the pinhole. This was the area that was the wettest from hydraulic fluid, so I'm pretty sure this is where I need to patch the tubing. I might order 2 of the patch kits so I can repair both tubes while I have it apart. The other tube also has a small pimple on it but it is smaller and might not have leaked yet. This looks like imperfections in the tubing that eventually opened up rather than a break or a cut.
I'm wondering if any other owners have found anything like this when repairing the roof hydraulic lines?

That connector is pricey.
I would take picture of connector and small piece of tubing to hydraulic line supplier.
Company like Pirtek.
See what they can do.

I had one of my hoses split (still not sure how!) but I repaired it by replacing the lot (more worthwhile in the long term), but here are the photos I posted (from this post https://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=122363 )

I have now found the culprit that was the leak in the first place, a slit in the pipe on the leading bend of the drivers side rear roof section...

And a closer look...

Really not sure how this has happened, it's not like it's a location that flexes every time you operate the roof, you can't access this location without removing the headlining, but it is exposed when you have the front roof shell repaired under warranty!! :?

If you need professional help I would recommend the Zed Shed.
He has repaired a large number of roof faults including mine that had a burst hydraulic pipe.
Cheers Jim.
