E89 roof grease ??

Just wondering.
Does the roof need greasing at all any time on these z4s?

Any particular points?

As far as I know the only place that needs greasing is the front part where the first shell latches to the windscreen. I had to do mine when I first got the car as it was making a nasty clunking noise when the roof attached to the windscreen frame. The rest does not need doing.

Does it only creak when opening the roof and not when just opening the boot?

Creaking when raising to open the roof ? "Only"
Opening boot normally no issue.
