I’ve not been on the forum for quite a while, after owning a couple of e85’s and a e89 I’ve been zedless for a while now.
I’ve owned a 35i but it didn’t get used enough so sold it several months ago as I have a e93 as well.
Anyway my wife wants to get another e89 which she will use as her daily however after driving a standard 2.0 was left a little underwhelmed.
The 35i power-wise was adequate, I just can’t justify paying the premium of say 14-15k for a 12 plate car when the 2.0 with Remap would probably suffice and you can get a newer car with less mileage for similar money.
I know these are different cars in most respects so what I’m after is a drive of a remapped 2.0 as I’d like to be confident that once purchased and mapped she would be happy with one.
Does anyone around Mansfield/Notts/derby area have one that they would be happy to take me for a brief spin?
