E89 recall?

I just saw this post pop up on my Facebook feed - looks like an American recall they're talking about but will there a recall in the UK too?

Don't hold your breath. I've seen a few recalls in the states that have never made it as a recall here but cars have been effected. I'm sure if there is an issue you will be contacted. Reading through the whole thing some are saying only effects N55 engine, some saying the N54 too. They've not said the 1M coupe so the 35IS won't be recalled then as they both have the same N54 engine.
