I bought a replacement one of these when I got my car as it was missing, only for the original 1 to turn up under the seat a few months later.
Genuine BMW part. 1 of the pins is broken meaning it won’t pivot at the hinge, but it clips into place and remains there no problem.
Hard to find- took me ages to get the replacement and I ended up breaking the pin on it when installing too!!
