E89 N54 35is for sale

So i need to sell my beloved 35is as child number 3 is imminently arriving and my work travel has changed whcih has resulted in putting some motorway miles on the car over th last 12 months and so i need to change to something far more sensible...sigh.

I purchase my Z4 at BMW - Vines of Gatwick in March last year, its a lovely example of this rare flagship model and i wish i could keep it. I pay for a BMW Fully comprehensive warranty that is just a rolling monthly fee of £38 pm with a £250 excess so this could be just transfered.

I have BMW finance on the car so would need to settle with the new buyer, BMW have advised of this process and it doesn't seem onerous.

I don't have the exact specs, i need to check with BMW for an official list of options but it has got a really good spec. Below is what i know the car has.

Heated Seats, Adaptive Xenon headlights, Professional Media system, Comfort access, extended storage, USB interface, telephone prep.

The car is a rare Space Grey ( believe only did the 35is in this for one year?) and has the Coral Red Kansas leather interior, it's a really nice colour way and gets a lot of comments.

The car has covered 61400 miles, i bought it at 30800 miles 18 months ago so you can see i have put some miles on it. I last had it services at Cotswold BMW at 49500 miles in March this year. Its had new tyres all round, i would say 5-6mm at rear and 7mm fronts. The front passenger wheel has had a kurb some time ago (thanks love!) so happy to sort if an issue and the rear passenger side also has a 2 inch small kurb but on the whole wheels are great.

The body work is mint - few stone chips etc to the front but nothing you wouldn't expect.

I have put some pictures below, i am located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire but travel to London most weeks so happy to meet somewhere convenient or in Cheltenham. I havent posted up here before so not entirely sure on how this process works about contacting me directly but please let me know if your interested seriously.

I would like to sell for £18 K, pictures below, looking forward to hearing from you

All things considered with what we have seen the last few months RE 35Is sales it could be considered a "bargain" but equally so imo a fair figure for both buyer & seller as some previous cars have been at inflated ask prices
If i was after a well specced 35Is at average miles this would be hard to ignore

Such a shame OP - lovely looking car, especially with the red interior!

I'm getting on a bit now so my eyesight isn't what it was, but mileage in your photo looks like 54,000 - if so you may want to edit your post.

Hope you find a good buyer.

Mileage stated is correct at 61,145 Mr Tidy, a trip to spec savers this weekend might be worthwhile my good man.... :oldman:

Great looking car.....I'm actually quite tempted! Only thing that would put me off is the >60k miles, but if the warranty can be transferred then it's less of a problem.

If you have the last 7 digits of the VIN you can enter it here and get the full spec of the car here: http://www.bmwvin.com/

Hmmm..

The reason its £18k is because of the miles though...

Miles go down,price goes up....

Lovely car, miles would necessitate a warranty perhaps but 60 k isn't really a lot for a car of this age. There must be examples of 35i/is Z4s & 335s around with much higher miles.

My new to me Z4 3.5i has 84,000 miles on the clock and runs perfect. Unbelievably quick, economical (for a 3l twin turbo anyway). I test drove a low mileage 3.5i at a dealers before buying this and couldn't tell any difference , just both fast as hell. There is no wear on the seats, few stone chips on the bonnet but this is getting addressed this week hopefully. The mileage didn't put me off at all but i did get it at a good price. If i was after a 3.5is the 61k mileage wouldn't scare me off and it is a good price too. You only live once and at the end of the day its a BMW not an Alfa Romeo

Just an update with full specs from vin decoder - thanks Alex.

Cant seem to reply to PM as im new on the forum? Any one who wishes to get in touch my mobile - 07976112441

Just in reply to others to be honest of the last 30K miles, prob 28K have been done pretty much rolling down the M4, you can see that from the average consumption shown on the speedometer reading of the mileage.. :)

60k miles is not high, these are big engines and large miles means warmed up trips that big engines love. Not 20k miles of 3mile trips that never warmed up. £18k is a bargain.

Succinctly put mr M , highly possible to run this for 18 months adding 20k & still leave with your initial wedge & not many motors in this sector could reflect that 8) give some folks a fiver in pound coins & they'd moan it wasn't a note

Nice car, and a great price if you ask me.

Mileage on a modern car has never scared me, as long as it's been properly maintained.. I bought my XC90 with 195,000 miles on it 4 years ago, and 45,000 miles later it's not given me a problem, and STILL looks and drives better than my Sister's identical car which is 5 years and 170,000 miles newer. Likewise with my van, 6 years old and 195,000 miles carrying tools with one driver since new, 12 months later and another 20,000 miles and it still looks and drives like a much newer one.

GLWTS, sure it will be snapped up!

Pinching this say too!
