Thoughts on this one? Well spec'd, I think.

I like the look of that
mine is a manual so can’t comment on the auto box
If I was buying it would tick lots of my boxes, the only one for me personally that I’m not a fan of is is the mileage but that’s personal preference & I’m sure others will say it’s no issue. I have no evidence to back that statement up I just know when I was looking I wanted one under 35k miles as I intend to keep mine for a long time & I was using it as daily doing between 5-8k miles a year
Ole gits rule said:Mileage is fine, bought my 23i at 74k, had the car 2 years and now on 82k with no real issues, I could have bought one with 40k on it but 3k more so horses for courses with mileage / cost
looks like a decent spec car

Yeah, I'm not bothered with mileage. Would like a year or two newer, but again, budget.
How would you compare the 23 to the 30? Definitely more 23's to choose from.

Although my current car has a DCT gearbox, my previous E89 3.0l had an Auto box with a torque converter.
I had no issues with it whatsoever and would have had the same again - my previous car also had the 1st Gen paddles on the steering wheel.

For me the car was the right price with right spec and ok mileage, yes would preferred a 30i but I am not bothered by the extra bhp, would have been more bothered by lack of decent spec.
Most will tell you the 30i is far better but the 23i is fine for what I want as I am not a speed merchant, best advice is drive them both and see what you feel is right for you, running costs are pretty similar for certain.

I did try a 23 last time I owned a Z. From what i remember I found it a little more lazy than the 30. Felt it needed to be worked a little more.
Was about 3 or more years ago mind.

That sums it up but horses for courses and I am ok with the 23i

Am I right that the paddles in this car operate the same on both sides?
