About to post my 35iS up for sale in the other section (just trying to sort some images out). Space Grey, 2010, 81K, high spec, I'm thinking value of 16K or is that too high?

FWIW and IMHO the market seems to be at or near an inflexion point..

I think crazy prices for 35is are coming to and end..

Having said that there are quite a few ‘lesser’ models asking big money…

So its again IMHO not a silly price either way…

There’s a glut relatively of grey/silver /black ones..

Depends on if you need a quick sale or happy to hold out..

My guess is the market will now decline ..but I’ve never won a bet..

Good luck with the sale

Not in a rush, just planning ahead for next May when my GR Yaris PCP ends. Idea is to swap both out for a G29 or M2. The iS as we know is limited in numbers, finding such a high spec isn't easy, as time goes on it will only get harder to find the right one.
Petrol prices can't be helping, but then people who buy this type of car have always accepted they not cheap to run. That said it will do 38-40mpg on a steady motorway run..... or not if you so wish :)
Alternatively I'll sell the GR and drive the Zed to the moon...... at 2 quid a litre !!

Next May?

Well who knows.... :tumbleweed:

Yep, you seen the lead times on new cars? 12+ Months in many cases, as they can't get enough micro chips. Limited specials get pre ordered and sold out in minutes. Example Toyota GR86.

Quite keen on this one, any thoughts?

From the advert certainly seems OK. SE but with a good spec for sensible money. It's got extended storage pack too. It is brown, though (I thought it was space grey TBH). :D

Needs a reg number to do an MOT check.

That looks pretty good with the M-Sport seats, front and rear parking sensors and cruise control.

And Havana Brown looks much better than it sounds! Not too dissimilar to the ultra rare Sepang Bronze of e85/86 Ms.

Nice looking car, quite a few toys. As said, reg number for MOT check and if properly maintained the mileage is nothing for that engine. Would be worth checking if any of the suspension has been refreshed, if not account for shocks all round

Plus one on suspension refresh....like the idea that its never been tracked..tidy repair on boot cover hinge..quite wll loaded for an early 23i..

Thanks for all your comments, I may be in the minority in liking brown!

Shades of gentleman's smoking carriage, quite in keeping with a 23i

Can these engines be perked up with a tune?

Not easily or cost effectively...you can get a little more pep by a re-map but that's what it is..just a pep..no feeling of two solid fuel boosters being added..one of our septuagenarian trip regulars doesn't do bad stirring away against the 300 bhp+ guys..

If you need more zip its a N20 /30i /35i beast you require

There are quite a few threads on this subject. IIRC it generally isn't worth the money. :)
