Didn’t catch sight of this little, or not so little, beauty first time round. Also drill holes in picture 8 on the rear roof slam panel.
Jet turbine?
There is something I really don't like about that car, but can't put my finger on what. The MOT history is actually pretty good but I just don't like it. It has a very recent MOT, so the reflectors either were removed recently or he/she has a very friendly tester! :|

It was this picture that made me look to see what it was after I noticed the non symmetrical drill holes 🤷🏼‍♂️

Wonder if the tester even noticed the reflectors were missing

Got to be some kind of after-market wind deflector fixings (if a little pished)?
Or maybe it was an unmarked cop car with a "follow me" sign?
I'm starting to think the idrive controller is a fake, just to make it look "windswept and interesting". Surely you put a picture of the screen if it has one?

Wow - £4k off in a week https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174789251090?hash=item28b2405012:g:hw0AAOSwLeBgtNq3

Still also sticking with my original, too much white (body filler) dust under the bonnet for my liking

Certainly a strange car - there is something odd with the iDrive as well - just one to be avoided unless mega cheap

...it’s definitely an after-market idrive. Nothing wrong with that, it just is.

Not just the iDrive, lots of things wrong with that car from the pics, was £13k last week now at £9k

I thought it might be a wind deflector too but it’s got the OE brackets on the hoops so would seem strange if it was.

I was thinking it might be fake too rather than aftermarket because it’s still got the storage compartment with button but I’m not too familiar with aftermarket ones and don’t know if an additional screen can be added in the original storage compartment

Thought the aftermarket ones just stood up and the cover was removed

I've got it! The aftermarket screen is a 19" TV which is slotted into the two screw holes, so you looked at it in the mirror (obviously tricky). So you can only use the screen when the roof is down and when you raise the roof you unhook the tv screen from the holes and stow it on the front of the turbine. That's why the holes are pished, same angle as the mirror. I know, I'm a god-damned genius

High miles and basic spec but seems like a decent price for a 3.0 and the MOT history is good.

The price is definitely good. Cheapest E89 so far of any engine size?? Personally I would NEVER buy any car with 138k miles even if it was £10, but that's just me :D

Wow, that is cheap. Good old facebook market place and their not knowing miles from KM, 120k miles, if the km is true.
I am still panicking that my 8 year old E89 has just clicked over 26k miles! I'm saving for an engine rebuild :o

How the hell does a Z4 do an average of 17,800 miles a year? I'm pretty sure it ain't a taxi! :o

Crank your anxiety levels up a bit with this one Rob found :o
