E89 Market watch

When you're selling a niche car you need to know exactly what you're selling otherwise you're going to miss potential buyers. I was regularly checking 35i listings as well as 35iS but I'm sure many others with that sort of money to spend would be very narrow minded about what they want and would never see that one.

I wasn't that bothered about premium stereo, but the ability to listen to excellent sound quality even with the roof down at 70 (cough cough) mph makes a real difference. Same for the heated seats, and I wouldn't want to be without either now. Not for that kind of money anyway.

Ah, the one where [ref]Ole gits rule[/ref], tried to steal mine for £18k  and also the one where the poorly spec’d 35i gets a bit of a roasting (by me  )

Thought i'd heard the last of the Cavalier in a shell suit gag, looks like is gonna stick Andy

You've got to say it as it is, when you're new to the market is best to know what to look for before money is spent

We will have to let him off when he gets that new car - maybe

I agree, I spend a few months looking on here and trying to understand what I wanted and what was achievable within my budget and bought the best I could afford at the time, now I want a 35iS in VO thanks to AA but pricing now is close Jag F-type which I also fancy :D

I’d hope getting another Zed would cut me some slack.

It’s definitely a learning curve and I have to say, we had a very quick look at the F-type before buying the 35iS and didn’t fancy one then I looked at new ones in more detail when I was looking at the G29 and the ones I looked at didn’t make me want to pursue. Maybe it was a budget restriction with the ones I was looking at but I definitely liked the G29 more. That’s why it’s good we’ve all got different tastes

Well we may be generous but then again just drop a reminder into the odd thread

I fancy an F-type but never having sat in one let allow driven one, my mind may be swayed one way to the other - both great cars in my opinion so will have to see at the time.

Given the mileage do you think thats just mank? :sick2: :sick2:

Probably just dirt on the steering wheel, I bought a v6 TT off eBay a few years ago that was similar. Took hours to clean the interior, but I didn't mind because I was paying a fraction of £10k.

Love the ambition of the exterior colour scheme, but stripes only look good on racing cars and a select few road cars e.g. Mustang.

Loving the empty fag packet in the footwell too. Some people really know how to market a car

I bought my daughter a car that had a steering wheel similar and it was the hand cream the woman used that caused it. It took the top coating of of the leather and subsequently the leather underneath got pretty dirty

I was going to mention that it hadn’t seen a sponge or vacuum for a while but I’m playing nice :sweetheart:
