Sytner's have some expensive 35is cars for sale, this one is a 2010 model for £26K, will be really interesting to see if this sells!

They don't seem to be able to sell the 2014 one at a grand more, so I can't see why this one would shift any time soon. But, I suppose they're in no hurry.

So far yes, although I havent seen it dry yet, this weekend is being spent on cleaning, critiquing how good the paint is and fitting a bloody carcam that was sat in a drawer since I bought it

White on white is not ideal - DSB and Ivory yes - white with black or red yes

There must be 4 or 5 white on white on A/T of various outputs, not my first choice to be honest but seems to have been popular at some point

Probably because VO whilst very popular on here is not exactly subtle and may be a bit much for most buyers..if i were in the market as much as I think its a great colour I couldn't see myself driving one..18k is a lot to splash privately and most spending that kind of sum would prefer dealers either for finance, warranty or both. Really crap advert too and not great pictures which also isn't helping..no speakers behind seats so basic (crap) hifi, no mention of heated seats and cant tell from rubbish pics, spec reads as it having idrive but from pics I cant see the dial on the centre console..this won't help either if thats the case..most would see it as essential on an 18k used car

If I recall correctly the bullet points were

Very poor ad - no effort - no details service history etc
Very low spec for a 35, no iDrive, base stereo, parking sensors, not sure about heated seats
Wheels look like they need a refub
And, not that it would bother me, but I THINK someone said there’s finance outstanding on it.

The toys may not be important to everyone but in that model, and particularly for resale they’re a must.

I also personally made comment about something just not looking right on one of the photos and think I put one up of mine as a comparison

Apart from that all grand :lol:

The point you make about it not selling since November is probably the most relevant one, good ones of these don’t hand around, particularly in Valencia Orange

Wbac (Cinch) has just updated its valuation of my 35is - they’ve increased their offer - to match a recent Synters offer- still it’s way below what they seem be selling for and nor reflects the high spec level of my car car.
All they ask is owners, miles and service. It could be a base spec or high spec but they don't ask and give only one price.

To add to this, despite it being on the market for so long he has increased the price a couple of times since I first saw it in March. HPI check came up with outstanding finance when I ran a check in April - as Andy said for some that's a deal breaker for others it's not. For me all the points above added up to "not worth the risk" for £18k (or about £16k as it was at the time).

While none of the points is a huge problem on it's own, at £18k for a privately bought car, half a dozen nagging doubts is about 5 too many IMO.
