E89 Market watch

I had a max bid of £15k on the white ebay z4 - it was mine until about 6 seconds from the end

I think the roof issue was more than battery related, I contacted the seller and she said the boot and roof didn't work even when they managed to jump start the car. Not completely convinced by the reason-for-sale story either (after a bit of Facebook stalking). Still, a decent gamble at £15k - even if you have to spend £5k getting it tip-top you've got a very good deal.

Kind of relieved I lost out because the Mrs was not as open to taking the risk as I was and I would have been in trouble if I'd bought it! And, more importantly, the colour isn't really to my taste.

Nothing wrong with white :D

Well even spending £3k to get the car sorted it would still have been a good deal.

Yes, not good if SWMBO is not into taking the risk then its best that you lost out but gutting over £100 in the last few seconds, I always put a random amount in to cover those type of bids :D

Nothing wrong with white, but I live in Essex and don't want to be mistaken for one of the locals. I'm digging a deeper hole, aren't I?

Last time I actually saw a white one in the flesh I do remember thinking it looked fantastic. To be fair, they look great in any colour...

well how often do you go to Ibiza or mega

I love the white z4 - have no issues with it as colour on mine, in fact it actually looks pretty clean when its dusty - will until I clean it

To be fair the only thing that actually put me off the car (apart from the finance gamble) was the black interior I wanted a white/red combo.

But @ £14K I think I could have learned to love the black

Good evening!

Well, following my first post about Sytner's £30K Z4, looks as though they are at it again!!

On the plus side this one is £27,500.....

Still a lot of money......I'm currently after a 35is.......I had a fab 35i new back in 2013 and always regretted selling it......is it me or are there a number of red ones for sale at the moment....ok if you like red I guess!

This ones gone too, no 35’s available on BMW’s AUC today

Well as discussed with an alledged £100 billion in people's bank accounts / pockets they didn't expect its got to go somewhere..

It appears to be still available and it's that good for the money Sytner feel it's that good they dont need to wash it. Hows that for confidence

It’s definitely gone from the AUC site and I was told when I bought mine that only happens when an invoice is generated as a result of a sale.

The reason I asked was because mine was still showing for sale a week after paying a £2k deposit and they said it would remain so until I’d signed all the legal documents fully committing by signing the purchase invoice therefore effectively sold.

I do agree that it’s not well presented at all, especially at £27.5k confidence or laziness, a fine line. Also neither is the red 11 plate @ £18.5k that’s been discussed a few times on here. There’s not one wheel clean. Whoever did it didn’t even bend down to clean the bits not visible while standing up :headbang:

Plenty of good advice and OCD in car cleanliness, think BMW are reading this thread with a view to cashing in. This one is a step or two too far.

Don't get me wrong, at the right price I'd buy this car but £27500 Wow :?

It looks like one of those abandoned cars in Dubai that’s been left sitting in the middle of sandstorms for years.

Question for you guys on the 3.5's
Do the all have DCT as standard please?

Cheers

Nev

35is - yes.

35i - no, could be manual or DCT.

Edit: sorry, if you mean DCT or standard torque converter like in the 23i and 30i, then yes; any auto 35i or 35is will be DCT.

Wonder how much they would pay cash for a fully loaded model with only a little more mileage if that's going for £27.5K?
