Could possibly be as simple as they had a trade in, looking for warranty/finance and have to pay the premium to get any of these things

Absolutely true plus £22k is a lot privately so can assume the protection by buying from a dealer has quite a bit to do with it

8 cars on my Ebay saved search this morning, 5 of them scams. Beware people!

Good evening all, my first post (with a new user name) for a long time.
The price of this one will make your eyes water:

£30K!!

[ref]Nanu[/ref],

Looks like it’s gone, there’s no 35’s available on the BMW site today and having bought mine from Sytner there was no discount on the price, trade in or not, the sticker price was the price end of.

I’ve just done a wbac speculative enquiry for my 35is (Sept16) and it’s come back with £19785

No questions about the specification, just a year /miles / model / owners / service history

There will be a few skimming off the £‘s from a final potential buyer.

I’m keeping it!

Why wouldn't they ask for the spec when it can differ so much

There was no facility on the page to input any data other that of service history/owners/miles - I suppose insurance companies dont ask for specs either :(

The less info they ask for / you give the lower the offer they make = better profit or quicker sale

Reasonable price but only one pic from a dealer is poor --- https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/11493371?cId=11221086&cId=11489319&cId=11321770&cId=11319986&cId=11428264&cId=11324996&cId=11459027&cId=11403028&cId=11375252&cId=11448193&cId=11491688&cId=10750037&cId=10565988&cId=11465252&cId=11401154&cId=11456073&cId=10994642&cId=11316054&cId=10939863&cId=11493371&cId=11375066

Its constant and why Ebay cant detect these scams quicker and block them is a mystery :(

All advertising are revenue for eBay... Scam or not. Bottom line first!

I saw a few more photos of it on another site, possibly autotrader. The leather interior looks quite shabby.

It's the same dealer that listed ibroker's beautiful VO, so its surprising they've presented this one so poorly.

Yeah not the best ad and if its the same dealer it as if he is not doing a great deal to each car.

I’d imagine the difference is they were presented with a retail ready immaculate car with ibroker’s and a quick wash and a sticker on the window was all it needed. Looks like they’ve done the same with a not so well presented car

All of their cars seem to be pictured in front of the same commercial-looking building, apart from this one which is on a driveway. I reckon they haven't got the car yet and the photos are from the previous owner.

I clicked on this last night and on Autotrader, the pictures have now been updated and so has the price. Was £18550 now it's £18,999, there is only one reason the price has changed and that's because the phone is ringing off the hook IMO.

My insurance claim had still not been agreed (accident 2 weeks ago) and I was saving this advert as evidence for price negotiation and I don't expect it to be on long. Don't need it now though as insurace as only finally agreed to my repair this aft.

For info, the "book price" for my 2010 35iS with 52k miles was just under £13k  not that it matters now but that is the value my repair was based on.
