E89 LCI and M Model?

Looks like they will just e changing the name to fit with the new M Performance brand ?

I thought the 35is has virtually the same performance as the e85/86 M in any case ?

Straight line performance is probably slightly better than our M's because of the torque advantage but they don't grip or steer like an M car unfortunately. What I don't understand is why BMW gave the 1-series the M treatment using the 35is engine as a base but didn't bother doing the same thing when they launched the 35is. It has proved false economy because it has sold in tiny numbers in the UK.

There is indeed far more to an M than just BHP values and 0 - 60 times. LSD for starters and not to mention the entire package that goes with it,

That figures, I order the 35is thinking there will never be a true e89 Z4 M and they release one... :headbang:

Mate i'm sure you'll enjoy your car no matter what  However you do realise you should have got a 35i and just tune it, save yourself some money :poke: lol

True, but I ordered the car, then joined the forum and found that out.

I guess that makes it a double :headbang: :headbang:
