S superdot Member Reading/Basingstoke Oct 25, 2018 #1 I Have two keys my e89 28i. My main one that I use every day has stopped charging, well at least I think it has stopped charging. Is there any way to resync the key just in case, or do I go to dealer or indie to replace the rechargeable battery?

N Nictrix Elite Paisley Oct 25, 2018 #3 Depending on the spec of the car some of the keys have a replaceable battery in them and it is not charged by the car. There is a part of the rear of the key that comes off to reveal the battery, its a 2032 I think
