E89 indicators

Bought mine today, had a drive to get to know it.

One of the first things I noticed was that flicking the indicator stalk only earns you one blink, rather than the three I get with my E92.

Is that how it is or is there a clever trick to change it?

I don’t think you can alter from the controls in the car, you need to code it on the car with NCExpert with a laptop or any of the other coding apps.

If you have idrive then it’s in the lights menu to enable three flashes..otherwise you’ll need BimmerCode. Carly, Protool etc to code that or even 5 flashes..

As said its in the iDrive menu.
But without iDrive then you can set it with the BC stalk (indicator). Can't remember the exact process, but I think you need to flick the wheel (on the stalk) up or down until you see a key on the cluster display. Then press the end button on the stalk and flick through, with the wheel again, until you find the relevant symbol for the indications.
I'll have a look at mine later and update this post

No iDrive, sadly - or electric seats or parking sensors, rather pov spec but in very good nick. I'll be interested to see how your experiment turns out.
