E89 Home Project - Firewall Pass-throughs

Hi All,

I've got a bit of a home project in the works and I could really do with finding a pass through for the firewall, ideally on the LH side of the car (passenger in my case).

I started to have a look myself but was hesitant on tearing the engine bay / fuse box area apart with the lack of sunlight I had after work the other week.

I know theres a passthrough on the RH (drivers) side that some have used to pass cables through when retrofitting parking sensors..
Has anyone had their E89 apart enough to know if theres another unused grommet through the firewall further across to the LH?

Thought I'd ask before I got my step drill out! :driving:

Behind the fuse box and goes into the big black box on rear left under bonnet.
I know as i stuffed some insulation in the holes to stop any noise.
Not passed any wires through though, take a look.

As discussed the ECU / electronics box on the left engine bay firewall has a duct that passes straight through into the passenger compartment behind the fuse box..simple..

Okay I'll take a deeper look there, I didn't really want to expose that very sealed box to any elements if I could help it!!

I had to drill a couple of holes for cameras and boost pressure pipes..appropriate gromets work find
