E89 Cup holder retrofit?

Hi guys,

Has anyone managed to retrofit a cup holder to their e89?

Apparently the parts are £40ish from the dealer but they want to charge £50 to fit!!! I managed to fairly easily retrofit the cup holder on my e85 and just wondered if it was as easy with the e89?!

Cupholders on E89 are very different. I think the whole unit under the armrest needs to be replaced by the one with cupholders.

£50 labour (30 min.) for fitting sounds reasonable. I prefer the location of cupholders on E85/E86, i.e. on the dash, not under the armrest.

Thanks for the info! Looks like this may be worth the investment at some point then!

At the moment I am far too worried about spilling coffee etc on my lovely design pure impulse suede seats!!!
