E89 Clear 3rd Brake light

Anyone heard if these are going to be available anytime from BMW??

Oddly, they didn't do one for the coupe (except for a marketing photo).

My grey car is crying out for one :(
 
Never thought of that before. Would prefer a fully colour coded aerial, for the stubby,,,

Did you get a garage to paint it up for you, including the base?
 
Body coloured arial....nah, thats tacky. How many cars have you ever seen with that? As Maniac's car is black, he is excused!

I think the black stubby against white is a good contrast.

Clear 3rd brake light....need to see one to decide!

(haha, like I'm the style guru! NOT!).
 
A white rear third brake light does look much better, I have one on the Z3 which came as part of the sport package, looks so much better than the red.

I think the 3rd brake light colour should be suited to the car. Not all cars will suit clear IMO

For me, one of the weaker points of the car is the rear. The boot lines are too soft. I'd not play around with a lens, its not worth it, I'd be looking for something altogether more oomphy if I were to do it. A colour coded spoiler etc..
