E89 Carplay retrofit

Hello all!

Does anybody have any experience intalling this: Wireless Carplay Android Auto Retrofit Kit CIC?

I can't seem to figure out what I need to do. I'm hesitant in purchasing but all the other options are just too expensive.

I appreciate any help or wisdom!

Well it looks like it’s a cheapo one …so may be ok ..maybe not so..pretty much plug n play..

Honestly, its probably fine if outright sound quality isn't your top priority. When I got my E89 it had one of these units and it worked just fine. I switched to the Mr12volt interface as I wanted the best sound quality possible.

All interfaces use the idrive controller unless you go for an Android screen, so the control aspect is never going to be amazing.
