E89 carbon effect center console

Hi folks I'm on the lookout for an E89 carbon effect center console trim , the one that surrounds the gear stick and ashtray , does anybody have one they wish to sell or can point me in the right direction to get one , cash waiting

Hi mate , I don't have any pics , don't know how to post picks on the forum, it's the carbon effect aluminum trim that goes on tunnel between the two seats , on your car it's a dark wood effect I think judging by your picture , that surrounds the gear stick aperture , ashtray and small cubby hole / sat nav control knob location ,it's an option if you look in your brochure ,

I do actually. Have the full set after replacing it with the wood trim. Only issue is that it's got part of the lacquer missing. If you search the classifieds, I put a few pics on there.

If its the laquer that has lifted in a few places it seems to be quite a common problem and the part from BMW is over £350

I have been looking every now and again for one of these also just to replace the one that has a small bit of laquer lifted.
I was thinking of getting The Dudes and trying to get it re-laquered but it would be a gamble and not sure yet.

Well this bits for sale. It does have a few marks on it thou. Obviously Tricky Dicky gets first refusal as its his post.

I would be looking for one thats mint anyway, as the one thats on it has only a small amount of laquer lifted.

Have you thought about getting your existing center console wrapped in a carbon effect? I cannot imagine it would be that pricey.

It would be easy to do yourself with the most difficult part being the ash tray lid but I would rather keep it as original looking as possible for as long as possible.
The other parts in the cabin would need wrapped as well to match.
