'WeatherTech' is owned by David Macneil, a Trump-voting billionaire.

Makes me think his boot liners must work and be very, very, very over-priced.

Most things are overpriced these days due to government mismanagement of economies due to ESG cultism...

Weathertech stuff does work. Their floormats and seat protectors have protected our 2012 Honda Odyssey from being destroyed by 4 kids with mud, crumbs, and sippy cups that leak... solid protection for a boot. The mats are reasonably priced here... only $95 USD.

This sounds like Trump-ism, but not in the words he would or could use.

 Probably not the forum for a shareholder vs stakeholder theory discussion since it tends to create polarity. Weathertech still is awesome with mats... their car covers are a bit extreme in cost though.

As I remember, my mat came to Britain tightly rolled* via Germany from China. A good product, well made, but - in my experience of visits to rural China - expensive enough to feed a village there for several days. It is no surprise then that Mr Macneil is a billionaire.

*It has lasted well for several years. I need to take a hairdryer to its longest rim now, though, which has curled back towards its original tight roll.
