E89 alternative cup holder wanted

Can anyone recomend a cup holder for e89? I have BMW standard ones in the arm rest but they just get in the way when driving. I wondered if there were any options that might fit on the passenger side of the centre consul that don't take up too much room

Ha ha But you let the dog in it! I fear I will spill a drink in the standard cup holders. Have a few 3 hour drives over the next few weeks and early and late starts so I feel coffee will be essential. Plus the better half bought me an official BMW coffee cup/flask which would be rude not to use

Anyone got one like this. I guess there is some drilling involved

Thats the official BMW cup holder for the American Market which isn't available here, I'm guessing as it would mean remanufacturing the trim piece for the opposite side for the UK market which BMW are too lazy too do or just think Americans drink more coffee in their car.

True but the dog is small. Is not allowed to move and does not shed hair. No mess allowed in my car.. Ever.

Mine is daily drive. I view it like the husband who after his wifes funeral finds all her best underwear in a draw saved for best and never used. I know that's a tenuous link and no talk of soiled knickers please. Just fancy stopping at the Starbucks drive through at Bristol on the way from exmouth to reading

Its a shame as personally I think its in the best location and would prefer it to a dash cup holder :(

I cant see the point of cupholders. If I want a cuppa i'll stop and have one in a coffee shop - I wouldn't want even a half a chance of spilling hot coffee on my tackle!

lol, I wouldn't want one to hold coffee just be useful to hold bottled water so its easiy to hand than it rolling around the car.
