A very nice looking car too

Whoever bought it will be very happy with that price. Would have been tempted if I'd had the cash spare.

Is this car still for sale ?

Now it's even more difficult but supposedly yes, the car was sold to someone.

And if the thread poster wishes to have this thread removed, closed and even his memenrship here removed he needs to contact a moderator as per the topic in the forum discussion page.

It has been very frustrating for everyone but there are some members who have been very little time or contributed very little and have been extremely rude. They've had no interaction with the man however feel that because others who have had interaction have had a go, it's fair game for them too. Well it's not.

This isn't what this forum is about and if you want to act in that manner then move on.

For people who do have 'abuse' directed at them then please note that the 'report' button which looks like this :!: can be used to bring it to the attention of moderators. However taking the action that has now been taken in this thread i.e. removing all posts has not helped the situation with others.

Well said Angie

Thanks Bing. It's just a shame that once again personalities clash and people do silly things. I've just noticed that every post he has made has been edited to a '.'

So now some of his useful posts have been deleted and it will leave others with similar questions back at square one.

I apologise slightly for any comments I have made over the last few months but it was getting comical.
James Bond must have read all the pros and cons of the car before he bought it but then let these possible problems get into his head and make him not want the car in case he suffered from any of them.
The best thing to have done would be to keep the car, use it, enjoy it and if any ugly problem arise get it fixed while under warranty then get rid before the 3 years is up.
The money he is going to lose would have paid for our Mini when we bought it, thats why it is a bit annoying that it could be given up so easily and after so few miles.
He could have hired a supercar for the odd weekend for less.

Well given the fact he was given a hefty discount from BMW the loss will not be that great, definitely not enough to pay for a new mini anyway. Car was around £52k ish list and people have been getting 15/16k off them. I'm sure he did pay in the region of £37k so to sell for £31,500 yes it's a loss but not as mad as if it had been purchased at full price.

Someone had got themselves a bit of a bargain there!

I've tried to stay out of the whole not in love, now in love, posts. I have noticed it creep into other threads of others and yes I have seen the frustration grow from some. 'James' should have known by now what to expect from some members. I mean 'Lux' is always a subtle as a brick through a window and some of it is said in jest and some people just move on and some take the bait and whoa! It's a fireworks display.

Sorry Angie, I never said a new Mini, ours was a few years old when we bought it. Sometimes that all people can afford. :(

Oh come on Angie, this fella has been talking shite since he came on here and its getting a bit tedious now. You've got to expect people to get fed up with it and say something.

Jonny Essex and Marmite Brad get the most stick on here and you don't see them crying about it!

Oh indeed Lux, I know that you've already been involved in some of the threads and that's my point. By now he should know he reaction he will get from you and others that have already had interaction with him......it's the fairly new memember that's had no interaction and just jumped on the bandwagon.

Some people can take it, others can't. Instead of trying to be diplomatic about it if they really don't like what's been said then they should 'try' and ignore it. Easier said than done for some members.

Oh sorry Nictrix. I do apologise. Still even at a couple of grand it's still a decent whack of cash to loose in such little time. But hey it's their money, we can only try and advise and help them.

I honestly don't remember having interaction with the guy before! :?

I thought the "newbie" was comical and then got called a twat, prick, little s**t, w***er and chav, and he didn't react.

Maybe bellend was a little unkind :telloff: but I toned that down too

I agree with Lux. He's been spouting bollocks for a while so in my opinion he's perfectly in his rights to express his boredom with the attention seeking nature of this guy. It's part of life for people to point that out. Where it got out of hand though was the name calling. It should never descend to personal name calling or abuse.

Equally though it's kind of typical of him that with a bit of mild criticism he took his bat and ball home.

I seem to remember when I signed up to the forum there was a detailed description and set of rules which I had to agree to?

I'm sure they still apply to all of us!
