Some of you might have seen some of my previous posts that miserable booger from Norfolk whose car lasted 6 weeks then spent a months telling everyone about it. Anyway, I haven’t gone away and though I looked at other options I came right back to where I started. Value for money - a bit of an odd statement for something I don’t really need, is Z4. They are kinda sexy looking though :D :D So, I would still take a 35is but top budget would be 20k and it would have to have all the bits. No iDrive is a non starter. I’m an IT guy gotta have gadgets.

Nope, I’m convinced that I may be right and in the fullness of time it might be proved I possibly made the correct decision even though the alternatives were probably a better choice. Saying that, even after purchase, I will no doubt spend the rest of my days kicking myself thinking, fick!, I should have bought an Audi. 😀

Well I’m not actually actively selling mine but I would let it go if someone wanted it. Have a read....

2014 mineral grey with black interior currently on 25k Miles.
Service history as and when required, all at BMW.
MOT’d last week actually, no advisories.
326 wheels with the correct Bridgestone run flats, no cracks, wheels in excellent condition.
Very very good spec as follows:

Extended black leather, covering the door tops and dashboard.

Sat Nav I drive.

Cruise control.

14 speaker gramophone.

Heated steering wheel.

Comfort pack....wind deflector, extended lighting, cup holders etc.

Adaptive headlights.

Ski hatch.

Lumbar adjustment on the seats.

Heated seats.

In fact I think the only 1 extra missing is comfort entry, it has all other options that were available.

Bodywork is pretty much mint, no dings, scratches etc, just a little bit of rash down by the front of the rear wheels on the skirt.

Recently detailed @ Beedubs place.

Because of spec and condition I’d be looking around the 19.5k mark.

Thanks for reading if you have done.

Where’s the link to that gorgeous Valencia Orange one that was for sale? That might be worth a look.

There is always wiggle room built into an ad, I would give them a call if the car ticks your boxes, what do you have to lose? Looks a cracker. To be fair John's is pretty sweeeeet too.

That VO does look a very very nice car...well cared for and very low miler.

I had thought all VO cars had the suede seats with the orange stripe though...? Maybe it could be specced out. :idunno:

Best of luck anyway.

The black/orange leather and alcantara interior was part of the Pure Traction Design package. It was a £550 upgrade option on the 35iS

2.5k over my top budget. That would be a lot of wiggling. :-)

You could be right but a 10% reduction from asking on a private ad isn't out of the question IMO. People's circumstances also play a huge part.........

Anyway good luck with your search, let us know how you get on.

No longer wanting and defo not desperate. Thanks to John-e89 I am now the proud owner (again) of a 35is. I had a lovely drive back from the Peak District today toP down for an hour until it p*ssed it down. 😀 Anyway, it was a pleasure to meet you John and I hope your injuries heal soon. And good luck to your son at his new school. I will update my avatar in due course!
