Hi Andy here,
I am going part time and requiring a vehicle to use for work hence the need to sell my lovely 35is. I have owned it for nearly 4 years and in that time only covered about 5000mls. The front adaptive shocks and springs have been replaced with genuine BMW ones (expensive).one rear led brake light and BMW battery. Car maintained by Halliwell Jones BMW of Chester till 25.9.20.
I purchased from Harbour Cars of Chichester Porsche and Mercedes Benz specialists. I have had three services by BMW specialists the last one 29/11/24 including gearbox oil and filters change for peace of mind. A really stunning car. Looking for offers around £14000 - cheers

Beautiful car with a low mileage. It is the same colour as the one I had and is the very best colour for the E89. I still miss the rumble of the straight six. Somebody is going to be very happy to find such a good example. GLWTS.

thankyou ird it will be hard to say goodbye i think

With the way the used car market is, you won't have to for a good while.

It is forum etiquette to say "GLWTS although you won't need it cos it will sell tomorrow" but the reality is slightly different in 2025.

£14k for a 14 year old niche market car is now (again) a lot of money.

It does look nice (I have had a Melbourne Red BM with ivory interior; it is a good colour combo), I hope you sell it for your asking.

Based on my recent experience I'd expect a good few offers without having to wait too long. Sensibly priced and looks like great value compared to the others currently on Autotrader.

I hope you are right.
The UK car market is in freefall, though, from what I have seen recently.

Autotrader is your best bet. It's always my go to for selling used cars privately. Nice pics and some interesting supporting info on the car and I think you'll get it away. £14k might be 'top end' but, if I was in the market, the low mileage and excellent service history would be a major plus. Best time of year for selling it too. The 35is is an absolute rocket ship. Amazing performance for the £wonga.
