For sale is my 2010 BMW e89 35i.
This is my 4th z, I sold my last one to my son, and only a fancy for an F type is making me list this for sale.

With just 48k miles, HPI clear, great spec and a solid history, this is a lovely car to own

Spec Highlights
35I, DCT gearbox, top spec hifi, sports seats with memory settings, heated seats, wind deflector, heated steering wheel. cruise control. wash lights, auto lights auto wipers, park distance control, xenon lights, dual control aircon, auto dip mirror.

Its a very comfy place to be. the car is in fab condition, it really doesn't show the miles on the interior or exterior. there are 2/3 smalll stone chips on the nose, no scuffs i can see anywhere on the body.

In my ownership its been dry stored, and dry stored for the prior 4 years by the previous owner.

In my ownership, i've replaced the std wheels with aftermarket replicas of BMW wheels. I do have the originals which have no cracks or welds, but I will need to keep one set or the other.
The front grills have been replaced, again I think have the originals if preferred.
The original metallic facias often look aged on these, so mine were wrapped by a professional company specialising in BMW interior trims, they have a nicer tactile feel, but again, the trim can be removed if preferred.
The original BMW i drive system has been improved with the additon of an MMI system providing apple play. it can also work with android phones.
Ive also fitted a wireless charger in the armrest which can work with any phone that fits in the slider, its not apple specific.
I also had the steering wheel retrimmed by royals steering wheels.

I have services showing in the book at
22k miles
34k miles
37k miles
40 k miles
41 k miles
43 k miles
44 k miles.
at 46 k miles I had a small oil leak whilst away in France, so had to leave the car with a dealer to repair, so the car now benefits from 2 fresh BMW turbos and all turbo pipework as BMW were unable to be sure if the leak was turbos or pipes.

The service dash shows some 18k miles before next svc due.

Happy for you to try the car if you have comprehensive insurance, or cash in my hands, or i can take you for a drive.
happy to field any questions, just pm me.

Price. 14k.

I did spy the car on FB and even liked it, slightly tempted, but was trying to hold out looking until late summer for me, a lovely example, what colour is the paintwork, is it Silver, I think my eyes are going :D

It’s silver yes.

Come take a look, car shopping is always fun

Tbh I'm tempted, but your nearly 200 miles away from me, and i have plans tomorrow, if it's still for sale next weekend and if ur free I can maybe take a trip down.

My son is encouraging me to pop over as he knows that my old Zed is his when I replace it with another

Where are you based? I’ve spent time with a few Scottish Z folk if you know them.

Dumfries, yeh just had a z4 run last week with a few folk around Dumfriesshire, up at Portpatrick, etc, was a good day 👍

Only reason I’m thinking of selling …

Ahh yes totally understandable, good looking car, I know a couple on the forum have changed to the jag from the e89s, they both have no regrets

If you still have the zed next weekend, I'll drive down, it's the wife that wants to change to the e89 if I'm honest, she will be with me

That looks to be a very good price, for a really good car.
If you can't flog that for that money, then there is no hope for rest of the car market at the present time IMHO.
GLWTS

I was on a Scottish run in my e23i with Steve last year and can confirm its a brilliant example. Its a pity I don't have the spare cash or it would be in my garage now.Good luck with the sale.

I’ve been on a couple of runs with Steve and this car, I also know the previous owner. Anyone looking for one of these should give this serious consideration. A few pictures from our last run out :driving:

Absolutely lovely this, had an E89 35i back in 2019 and was sad to see it go, still feels like there is some scratch left in that particular itch for me...

Some very nice spec too!

The temptation to sack off my rather broken E85 for this is tempting but it would prevent me from achieving my goal of getting a Mustang next year so as much as it pains me, I'll have to leave it at simply wishing you luck with the sale :(
