EDIT - the Mrs has spent the last week in hospital (unscheduled) so not only have I not sorted the oil change service yet, but we want to press on changing the fleet.

Further Edit - Mrs TB wants a two seater, and the Z4 is on the list - must be an auto with heated seats, preferably an E89 but will consider an E85 - putting it out there just in case as we would consider a PX ‘of sorts’ - have added a wanted add on the forum also.

On this basis I’d accept £11,250 for the car as is, with the new owner sorting the oil service or £11,500 with a new service in the book. It’s only done about 5k miles since the last one, but is due on time.

MOT to December, no advisories
HPI Clear
No faults
Requires Zero Money Spending
Full Service History - does need an oil change service.
Mileage approaching 75k - so relatively low.

I am biased but, in my opinion, the N52 3.0 offers the best compromise between performance, reliability, economy and noise for the E89 platform. Significantly faster than the 23i and significantly more reliable than the 35i or 4 pot turbo options.

Deep Sea Blue Pearl and Canberra leather - lovely colour combination, bottom photo shows current 641m alloys (I will update with better photos once it stops raining!)

Very nice looking car, great spec wont hang around long for sure

Whats up next

Not 100% sure, but needs to be auto as might need to use it for our 3 weekly trips from Bristol to St Bart’s London for Mrs Chemo.

Possibly an E89 auto, maybe a 4 series convertible of some description… but something auto she can enjoy and that we could use for London if we were forced to.

Hope SWMBO is ok and everything going well.

That will sell quickly for certain and choosing something else is going to be tough, I made the same swap as my old knees are shot and need room for grand kids in the back so went M4 - cracking car all round even if a little unruly in the wet.

Sorry to hear about your OH's treatment. I hope it goes well.

That's a great E89 for someone then you can both enjoy it's replacement. :driving:

GLWTS mate!

For anyone potentially interested in this car, you won't find a better looked after car. You can guarantee it will be pretty much perfect. :)

Thank you for all the positive comments chaps.

The Mrs treatment continues to be miraculously successful, it’s a medical trial so no option to get treatment elsewhere. It’s been 2 years so far, so fingers crossed. It’s a lifetime commitment.

Sort of at that point where running 3 cars, when she isn’t able to drive at all 50% of the time, doesn’t make sense. In addition, she really gets on better with auto’s.

Our logic is turning to having two really nice cars, both auto’s, so that either would work for the London trips.

Effectively in no rush to sell this car and could probably keep another year and sell next spring, but it makes sense to get this done and downsize the fleet

Should that be M Sport suspension not active suspension. Thought the adaptive suspension was only available on 35i and 35is

Great looking car (from another DSB owner) should sell -GLWS

Oops just checked 2VF is adaptive suspension never seen a none 35i with adaptive every days a school day
Edited as you were posting reply - no doubt a very expensive option at time

Nope, this was 100% adaptive suspension from the factory! Front shocks were on very limited miles due to being replaced and are now on a 35i up north somewhere

S2VF in the options list on page 1

Beautiful example.True-Blue. Exactly the spec and mods I’d want from an E89.
GLWTS and with Mrs-True-Blue’s continued success
