Hi everyone,

New member, hoping to become an owner rather soon.
Me and my partner finally decided to go for it and after some research, we narrowed it down.

We’re not looking for a project, we want a reliable car that was loved, cared for and properly maintained, as we will continue to do so.

It will be a daily driver in London + long weekend drives, so we’re looking for a reliable comfortable car with low to none initial maintenance needed.

Looking for:

- N52 (2.5 or 3.0)
- Exterior: preferably grey (would like to avoid black, but others are welcome)
- Interior: preferably red
- Wheels: 17” or 18” for more comfort
- Mileage: below 100k
- Gearbox: automatic

Must have:
- Parking sensors
- Cruise control

Everything else, I think we can live without.

If anyone has to offer something that fits our needs, please get in touch.

Thank you!

I’ve put my search on hold for now as the ones I was interested in were sold or too far away or missing something I wanted.

If it helps, I’ve narrowed it down to a single car but I’ve stopped looking since. Looks like it’s still available.
Have a look, it might be interesting to you as well

It does have a lot of options, but that price is expensive. That dealer does ask big prices for the Z4s they sell.

Many potential Z4 buyers seek out the M Sport model with sport seats.

If you pay anywhere near £10k for that car you'll take a big hit when it comes to sell. There has been nice 30i models struggle to sell much cheaper than that as they aren't M Sport models.

I sold my 23i auto over a year ago with 38k miles on the clock for a lot less than that and it had idrive/pdc/heated M sport seats/ mint 326M alloys with Eagle F1 tyres/ M sport steering wheel with the newer paddles (refurbished by Royal Steering wheels) full BMWSH, so they are out there and be prepared to travel for the right car.

I saw my old car yesterday at a Z4 breakfast meeting, OMG... the new owner has taken it to a different level (and I thought it was mint under my ownership) it looks like it just came out of the factory with some additional tasteful modifications. I followed it back on the journey home in my G29 30i and the 23i looked and drove amazing, especially on some twisty backroads (the old girl can really move). The car couldn't have gone to a better person

I’ve asked some questions on Z4 owners group on Facebook and someone reached out selling his car. He wants £13000 for a 6080 mile very basic 23i (no parking sensors, no iDrive, 17”).
That’s 35si money…

I’ve seen that one as well, shortlisted but I forgot about it.
Looks decent

Mot history looks ok just tyres and joints. Car has cruise, extended leather etc and the colour combination works. If you decide to view it check the inside of the wheels for cracks/ repairs.

Those are pretty high asking prices given 23i are around 5.5k-6k most of the time ..options and mileage accepted :tumbleweed:

Peter I was tempted a week ago to sell my G29, I went on Motorway and the price was only about £150 less than what I paid for it just over year ago which surprised me. The other car I was interested in sold so I didn't proceed.

Given WBAC for a 35is is £5k I think £10k 23i are a tad overpriced..most I’ve seen have sold for £5k -£6k in vgc ..but..if you don’t ask…

I'm taking mine to SCITP at Newby Hall this weekend and will probably have a for sale sign on it.
I thought about advertising on here but it seems like any advert placed is attacked if you don't spell or ensure everything is grammatically correct :D
