WANTED E89 23i M + advice for one on autotrader

Wanted
Interesting. Our 23i wasn’t for sale but… I can promise that our 2010 car is superior to the one you’re looking at on AT. 52k miles. Thousands spent on her when new and since. Those horrid RFTs removed for super-expensive Conti SC7s. Anyway, I’d price match if you’re interested. Get in touch. Or you can see it in the current edition 35 of Classic.Retro.Modern. magazine JL

And it looks like BMW performance six pot calipers. I know where I would be looking🤔👍

The number of exceptional older E89s is waning mainly because most have biggish mileages now. The time when you could buy exactly the car you wanted (mileage/colour/condition/spec) is vanishing. This seems to be an honest well kept car. The brakes calipers are just clean - mine are like that a Matt light grey/silver. I would prefer this to a chavved up one (lowered/red calipers etc) anyday. Look at it and if history and if it’s good make an offer. If it’s weekend car then black shouldn’t be a problem and it does look good detailed (ask Silverstar).

Oh I’ve lavished far too much money on ‘her’ … it’s now only used as a show car and never gets wet! Such a waste really. But I love it.

Thanks, that's quite the car you've got, looks great. My only slight issue is that I have a private plate 2011+. Will keep tabs nothing else pops up

Colour is in eye of beholder if you have a choice. Black z4, I like the colour and feel it suits the car, as its garaged easy to keep clean. My Z3 is silver, great colour for an older car...happy with that also

No problem. And thanks; yes it is… If you want to come and take a look with no pressure, just talk all things Zed, you’d be welcome. I’ve had the same issue with plates in the past which I why I stopped bothering. As I stated, ours isn’t marketed as for sale, but for the right person… who knows 😉

Ah I did read the magazine and thought a recognised the car...looked great.

Just pondering life on a Sunday evening (having spent a perfectly good afternoon ruined with village club accounts)… @aki did you view the car on AT?

Unfortunately didn't get a chance over the weekend. Sending my car to a garage on Friday for some AC noise diagnosis so hopefully once that's sorted
