e89 20i exhaust

hello,

i have an z4 e89 20i and was wondering if the rear exhaust muffler of a 23i would fit, since i wanna go dual sides rear mufflers. the diameters of the pipes are the same.
as seen in the 2 pictures attached they look verry similar but i wanted to ask if anyone has any experience with this subject.

There’s space for a box on the right hand side as that’s where the 35i/35is box goes..obviously will need some cutting n shutting …you’ll need some sort of distribution collector if it’s actually going to pass gases..good luck

yeah i checked that before and it does indeed fit space wise, but im more worried about if it would be possible to put the 23i rear mufflers in there, since when im looking to buy a rear muffler they are sorted seperatly. so is there a diffrence between 20i en 23i?
