E89 2010 infotainment upgrade.

I have a damaged and outdated 2010 infotainment system. I am looking into upgrading it to either a BMW (if compatible) or an aftermarket option, what are good alternatives for the current system I have? Any leads will be helpful

Either replace the screen or go for an Android unit that folds down or just sits in the tray..

Looks like the damage is screen only? In which case I would just replace it with an original BMW one, probably you can pick up a good second hand one. You might want to consider adding an MMI box which will give you Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to help bring the system into 2023.

Ah good one, yeah just the screen is damaged. Thanks will check for an MMI box.
