Hi all,

Regrettably, I'm looking to sell my E86 Z4 coupe due to lack of use and needing the garage space back. I've owned it for the last 2 years (always garaged-stored with cover on + trickle charger) and only done 1,000 miles in that time. Turns out balancing work with a young family take up way more time than I'd hoped! So would like it to go to a good home where an enthusiast will make use of it.

Car is a 2006 3.0 si sport spec in Montego Blue with the white ivory (not beige) interior, a reasonably rare option I believe. Genuinely a great looking car and in great cosmetic condition for the age / mileage (see pics below).

Car starts on the button and all dash lights go out as normal.

Car is completely stock and has the following features for avoidance of doubt:
  • Zenon headlamps
  • Automatic lights and wipers
  • Comfort pack - Electric seats (not heated), nets behind the seats and cup holders (both fully in tact and operational)
  • Electric folding mirrors
  • BMW Business CD system with CD changer (this is still installed, albeit unplugged in favour of has been unplugged in favour of an aux adaptor)
  • Multi functional steering wheel (option)
  • Rear parking sensors (option)
It has the following 'mods' / upgrades:
  • Subtle wheel spacers (maybe 15mm?) front and back
  • A strut brace across the front (see engine bay pic)
The car has had some money spent on it before I bought it including refurbished alloys all round (sprayed gunmetal grey - all in excellent, unblemished condition), new tyres (Goodyear Eagle F1's, non-run flats), new brake pads and discs and a new windscreen (no documentation of the windscreen but previous owner informs it had a new one within the last couple of thousand miles before I bought it).

The important stuff has also been replaced in recent years - the electric water pump was replaced 4,000 miles ago.

Car has just been MOT'd so ready to go. Comes with 2x keys.

The only cosmetic blemish of note is a small (fingernail-sized) imprint on the boot lid. I've tried to capture it in a pic but it's so small it's difficult to see!

Service history - most of the history in tact back to 2017 but otherwise just the log-book stamps before then. Service history is a combination of main dealers and BMW specialists (Autokraft Ltd; Promotive).

Would look for £9,250 o.n.o. Based in the West Midlands near Birmingham Airport, 2 mins from motorway.

Do get in touch and drop me a private message if interested!

Happy viewing!

That looks just like my Montego Blue Coupe that I sold on 91K miles! The seats look like they are Pearl Grey which is what mine had.

FWIW the rear parking sensors and Multi-Function Steering Wheel were also options, anyway GLWTS.

Ha thanks! Yes good points - knew I’d forget to mention some features! And thanks for clarifying the seats. I’ve just taken a look and I think you’re right, they’re the ‘pearl grey’ seats albeit they’re definitely white in my eyes!

I think photos tend to make the seats look lighter than they actually are. If you can find a working VIN check site you could get confirmation. But I thought Pearl Grey went really well with Montego Blue. :D

Excellent... The good ones always sell quite quick.
It looks a great car at what seems a fair price for both parties, too.
Anyone on here ?

I am now the proud owner of this fine example. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Rich and his family.

The car is in great shape and I plan to just refresh a couple of things but keep it as it is otherwise and enjoy it.

Mr Tidy knows me from M3 Cutters as I have an E90 M3 as well. My daily E90 325i made way for the Z4.

Welcome to the forum, and Z4 ownership.

The N52 engine just feels so much more eager than in an E90, and you can hear it!

Was a real pleasure owning the car (I can't lie - I do miss it a little!) but delighted to have sold it to Rob who's a real enthusiast and actually wants to use the car on a regular basis (which I'm all for).

Enjoy the car, Rob, and stay in touch!
