E86 Windscreen Ebay

Nothing to do with me but spotted this.Just checked the part number on Realoem and it says E86 only.

bargain, i'm in the windscreen biz and thats what i call a bargain! same glass would cost me 10x current price

Out of interest I just rang autoglass for price of screen and was quoted 'retail 739.95, with autoglass discount (?) 535.86 inc fitting and vat'!

Yes, the coupe version is slightly taller/heavier.

BMW list it at £262 retail, so I assume Autoglass are either covering it with gold, while wearing hypo-allergenic overall made out of gold-leaf, and wanking you off with a velvet glove - or are quoting to include the cost of refitting it a couple of times to make sure it doesn't leak/whistle

Auto glass will give you a discount for any and every reason.

As i understand it it enables them to keep their prices artificially high because most of their work is insurance jobs.

I can confirm that there different as the AA fitted the coupe windscreen to my roadster, they had to come back out and refit the correct one. The mirror in the coupe is a lot lower the in the roadster.
