E86 wheel question

Hi guys I have searched this but can't find anything quite answering my question, so here goes😁 I've just bought the above car, high miles but lots spent and goes well and looks good. Its got mv2 on it at the moment, powder coated black, with brand new tyres. I would like to change the wheels to some really deep dish racing, gt type ones but am unsure of any wheels suitable and what problems I would have. My suspension is standard I think. Thanks for any ideas /help!

The style of wheels is pretty irrelevant , concentrate on wheel widths , offsets & tyre sizes .
In simple terms aim for 8j / 8.5j fronts et 40 with no lower than et35
rears can be 8.5j 9,5j 10j again aim for et40 or et 35 depending on rim width
