Afternoon All
Have an issue with my Z4, when going over bumps theres a metallic knocking sound. Took it into BMW and they said it requires a complete new front passenger side strut. Its under 12 months warantee so glad its not just a bush or something. they are going to replace, although will take 10 days to come over from Germany.
My questions are, ive read a lot of posts saying you should replace both at the same time. is this advised? Obviously BMW wont do the drivers side if theres nothing wrong with it. Is it worth asking??
Also, after this work does the car need to be realinged/ tracking fixed. is this something they should do as part of it?
