Hi All,
Currently I am in the process of having my car fully repainted. Long story as to why but after a long time off the road its finally happening. The body shop has removed the roof for painting and there is a rubber gasket that fits between the roof and the outer door frame/ chassis. The roof is bonded to the car so this in not to keep water out, I believe its to fill the gap between both parts. I found out today that these are no longer available, Part nos, 51763421369 and 51763421370, left and right. So I guess my question is has anyone dealt with this? I have found a website www.sealsdirect.co.uk that does a lot of automotive seals, I could probably find something similar there or try and either hope someone might have these sitting in the garage, unlikely, or try and find good used ones, again unlikely. I also thought I could fill the gap with something like tiger seal, now obviously not the best and its not how its done oem. Hoping someone might have a few better ideas than me. Pics for attention.
Any help advice is appreciated
Cheers
Chris
