E86 repaired after RTA

10 weeks ago I was hit from behind on the A1 near Greetham in Rutland.
The driver of the White Transit was Rumanian and didn’t speak English.
Fortunately he was insured and worked for Amazon.
The third party insurance admitted 100% liability, but it still took 9 weeks to repair my car.
Both insurance companies were hopeless. I guess because the car is 14 years old they didn’t
seem interested in working on my behalf.
In the end I nominated Vertu BMW at Bolden in Sunderland to repair my car.
I have nothing but praise for them, they were superb.
The repairs look as new, and cost over £4K.
Many thanks go to Street from this forum who supplied a replacement bumper and near side lamp cluster.View attachment 1

Good result. Looks like you got lucky with no damage to the rear hatch?
Luckily the rear hatch and near side rear wheel were unmarked.
I thought the car might be scrapped, and I even purchased a cheap set of oem wheels.
The car was repaired so it won’t be catorgarised.
It’s a keeper anyway😎

Your car is looking great once more Nick.

Street to the rescue again!

Good to see Vertu/Bristol street Motors getting some good feedback. Used to work for them and they are definitely one of the better big dealer networks.
