E86 or 85???

Might be a stupid question..... What is a Bmw Z4m a E85 or E86 or is there cross over or is one the Converible one the coupe

E85 is the original Bangle design, fun loving, Roadster, all engines.

E86 came along as a very petty after thought. Is the Coupe. Available with 3.0 or 3.2 engines only. :thumbsup:

The E85 "classic" was the pure shape that the designer put to paper. Then someone at BMW decided they wanted an estate/hatchback version and out came the E86, known as the Coupri :)

Oh it's worse than that, firebobby is a member of the exclusive roadster with a wood dash and automatic gearbox club! :lol:

To answer your question, the BMW Z4M is either a E85 (Roadster) manufactured to 'M' specification or a E86 (Coupe) manufactured to 'M' specification.

hi firebobby yes i think so your dash is the dark wood ours ls light we have the roadster with the cream softtop and if you was at Beaulieu this year we did meet catch up with you both at next years events :thumbsup:

Give up mate, there was no mention of the very important letter 'M' in post two or any other post bar mine. The comments concentrated on the difference between a E85 and E86. Let's now act our ages.
