E86 M sport bumper

Are these as rare as hen's teeth also?
Thinking about getting one but new they're much more than they're worth.
What are the alternatives? Troll the sell section? The breakers?
Any place online I can get them for non-dealer prices?

I like how rare the E86s are around but hate it how rare the parts are :(
 
The E85 and E86 share the same bumper (both front and rear) So i wouldnt restrict yourself to looking at those from a coupe only.

You can get them direct from BMW germany (try ebay.de) for much less then the uk/ ireland inc postage.

Yes I know I usually do search for both E85/86 since most parts are the same, and there are more E85s out there anyway.
Have tried the usual ebay uk/de and loads of E89 Msport bumpers alright, and just plain SE one for the E85/86.
I guess I would need the whole kit, with trim and fogs.

What you need is
1 Imagination and a complete disregard for people saying it can't be done.
2 One Sapir bumper
3 Lots of filler
4 Lots of fibreglass
5 Lots sandpaper
6 Lots of blue ice filler + an oven or more time...to cure it.
7 A bucket load of time + more time and patience.
8 A kind generous forum buddy ( happy to help ) but Oli T is the guy you really need.
9 More time.


But when it's done you will have a one off bumper :thumbsup: or pay the price my friend.
 
I know Machine monkey, but the last one is the one I never have :(
It would be cool to get something custom going but no such thing as Westcoast Customs in Ireland (the name probably exists as a business but that is where the similarity ends).
An adaptation of the E89 aero bumper would be amazing alright but I want to keep this one as OEM as possible.

I would PM ESP as i know he got an M rear from germany recently... he may have the contact details.
 
One other question, going from SE bumper to Aero, does anyone have a list of parts needed? The ones which cannot be reused that is.
