In 2021 the ABS/DSC warning light came on my 2009 Z4 (E86). Putting to one side buying a new one I decided to buy a second hand unit, refurbish and then get this changed when I had my brakes serviced. This saved a load on labour, meant my car wasn't sitting in a garage for a week and I knew the unit going in was fully functional.
This all went to plan and I held onto the old unit just in case (carefully packaged and kept in my garage), all has been fine so now looking to sell.
Note: This unit will need to be refurbished!
My costs for all this, I bought a unit off ebay (allegedly in working order) for 400 pounds and just to be sure had it refurbished by ECU Testing for 260 pounds and comes with lifetime warranty (when they bench tested prior to refurb it failed so good move).
Given this is a failed unit I've advertised on ebay for 250 pounds, Which seems fair...
