Hi all, Especially MR WILKS,

Mr Wilks I'm told you are the go to for wheel and tyre fitment, so I would like to Know;

What are the Widest Michelin Pilot 4AS tyres I can fit without rubbing?, to 9.1/2" & 8.1/2" x19 CSL Atomic reps. I favour, 275/30 and 235/35x19s
F.et38 R.et45 from;

BM Auto Sport in Eastbourne (I'm in Kent) who have also offered me a very good p/ex on my MV2s on P zeros.

Maybe I need different offsets and or size tyres?

Many many thanks,
Stuart

Stock suspension or lowered is a factor to consider .
Rears won't be any issue on 275 30 19 et 45 9.5j but the 8.5j et 38 fronts could rub arch near the reflector if lowered & a brand new 235 35 tyre fitted , might not be much but certainly any spirited driving on bends or compression id expect a slight chaffing .

Thank you Mr Wilks,
I'm extremely grateful for your reply.
Car is standard height if that makes a difference?
My only reason for picking 235's on the front is so as not to have any rim protrusion, or be over stretched that the 225's might have, which apart from making them vulnerable to kerbing I find unsightly. Apart from that I would prefer 225's to lessen any Tram Lining effects. Or maybe 225 4AS,s will have enough width or bead to cover this, knowing they are a squarer tyre?
Many thanks,
Stuart
