E86 Coupe - Windscreen wipers

Guys/Girls, can you please recommend some very decent wipers for my Coupe.

They are a little tired and worn. Are aero design best? BMW ones the ones to go for? Links would be useful.

Our cars don’t like the aero ones as the windscreen is too curved and the far right edge gets missed. Have a look at Bosch super plus ones
Put your REG in on euro car parts and apply discount you can get both for £9.99

If you do go for the Bosch Aerotwin ones, then go for an even smaller passenger side one so that it doesn't flap about.

I think I went for 21/19" instead of the 21/20".

Make sure you also get the 'spoiler' model with an S after the number - otherwise you'll end up with a plain version which may lift at speed.

Bosch Aero blades fitted by Autoglass when they replaced my damaged Windscreen with an OEM Screen & Seal...

These aren't 19" so is it a big issue going 20"? Easy to fit?

I must have had at least 5 different brands of wiper blades on my E86s, and the closest fit so far were the Bosch non-aero ones like in mmm-five's link.

The 21/20” combo is standard...I was just suggesting to go to 19” for the passenger side if you went with the Bosch flat/aero style rather than the standard Bosch Sport Plus wipers.

Mine with a 20” aero twin type...

I have changed them a month ago and went for 500 mm passenger side and 530mm driver side
(standard wiper) :wink:

Again, appreciated. The curve of the windscreen is similar to my old Saab 93. I couldn't get anything, other than OEM wipers to sit properly.

If you want to be perfect, these are identical to the BMW ones in that the passenger side one is curved to avoid overhanging the overly curved part of the screen.

Bought the Bosch Super Plus SP21/20S from Halfords last year and they sit perfectly flush on my E85 looking at the website they only sell as single blades now not a set but they are the same length

Your experience may vary, but I fitted a set of OEM Bosch wipers when I bought my car and within a month they were squealing like a banshee and the drivers' side didn't sit flat against the screen so always left a half-moon of untouched windscreen right at the bottom of the windscreen, not to mention a huge triangle between the blades.

Swapped for Aerotwins and never looked back. Yes the blade sits off at the far passenger side when it's in the part position, but it clears the windscreen absolutely fine (and completely silent!)
